CDC Focus Group Research

C R Market Surveys (CRMS) partnered with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to support its research on heat stress awareness and prevention. CRMS conducted focus groups, including sessions in Spanish, to gain valuable insights into public perceptions and behaviors related to heat stress.

Key contributions included:

  1. Focus Group Research: We provided expert moderation services in both English and Spanish to ensure diverse participation and inclusive discussions in our focus groups.

  2. Data Analysis: We utilized in-house focus group analysis software to enhance the quality of reporting.

  3. Report: We delivered a detailed qualitative report to help the CDC refine its heat stress prevention messaging and strategies.

This research was instrumental in helping the CDC better understand public attitudes toward heat stress and improve its outreach efforts to vulnerable communities.
